Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Compliance Crucible LLC ("Compliance Crucible," "we," "us") operates the Compliance Crucible safety documentation platform at compliancecrucible.com. We are organized in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. For any privacy question or request, contact us at paul@compliancecrucible.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the platform:

• Account information — the name, company or employer, email address, and username you provide when you register and maintain a subscription.
• Payment information — subscription payments are processed by our payment processor (Stripe). Stripe collects and handles your card or payment details directly. Compliance Crucible does not receive or store full payment card numbers; we receive limited records such as subscription status, the last digits and type of the payment method, and billing confirmations needed to manage your account.
• Documentation content you create — the information you and your personnel enter into the tools to build safety documentation records (for example: work scope, site and personnel details, observed conditions, hazards, controls, references, attestations, and any files or evidence you choose to attach), along with the outputs and locked records the tools generate.
• Agreement and acceptance records — records of your acceptance of the User Agreement and related terms, including the version accepted and the time of acceptance.
• Technical and usage information — standard information your browser or device sends when you use the platform, such as IP address, browser type, and login session activity, used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not enter personal data into documentation records beyond what your safety program legitimately requires.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, maintain, and secure the platform and your member account;
• Process subscription payments and manage billing through our payment processor;
• Store, lock, and make retrievable the documentation records you create;
• Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account and the service;
• Maintain acceptance and version records associated with your subscription; and
• Meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

4. We do not sell your information

Compliance Crucible does not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We do not run advertising trackers on the member platform.

5. Service providers we rely on

We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate the platform. They process information only to perform services for us, under their own terms and security obligations:

• Payment processing — Stripe processes subscription payments. Your payment details are handled under Stripe's own privacy terms.
• Hosting and infrastructure — secured cloud infrastructure and database providers host the platform and store your account and documentation records.
• Email and communications — providers used to deliver account, login, and support email.

6. How we store and protect information

Account and documentation data is stored on secured infrastructure with access controls. Documentation records can be locked and preserved with verification values so that a completed record is tamper-evident. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards appropriate to a platform of this kind.

7. Your documentation records

The documentation records you create are yours. Compliance Crucible stores and processes them to provide the service. We do not use the contents of your documentation records for any purpose other than operating the platform for you, supporting you, and meeting our legal obligations. As described throughout the platform, the tools provide documentation frameworks only and do not certify compliance, authorize work, or make decisions on your behalf.

8. Data retention

We retain account and documentation data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of personal information as described below; some records may be retained where we are required or permitted to keep them.

9. Your choices and requests

You may request to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing paul@compliancecrucible.com. You can manage your subscription and billing from your member dashboard. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

10. Cookies and sessions

The platform uses cookies that are necessary to keep you logged in and to operate the member area securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the member platform. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected in a new revision number and effective date on this page, consistent with how we version our other governing documents.
