It is implemented as a replaceable legal module. Subscribers accept the active revision via affirmative clickthrough before payment is processed. Older revisions are preserved in the version history registry.
1. Nature of Service
Compliance Crucible provides Documentation Frameworks — structured systems for organizing safety and compliance documentation. The frameworks are not compliance determinations, legal advice, engineering analyses, or compliance judgments. Outputs are designed to support documentation discipline, audit-support recordkeeping, and field coordination, not to substitute for professional judgment, training, qualification, or statutory determination.
2. Non-Transfer of Statutory Responsibility
Use of the platform does not transfer statutory responsibility for workplace conditions, work authorization, employee instruction, program implementation, or compliance decisions from the employer to Compliance Crucible. The employer retains all such responsibilities under applicable federal, state, and local law, including any applicable OSHA, MSHA, EPA, state-plan, or other regulatory program.
3. Commercial Subscribers Only
Compliance Crucible does not offer consumer subscriptions. By subscribing, Subscriber represents that they are acting in a commercial, professional, employer, contractor, consultant, or safety-management capacity, and not as a consumer purchasing for personal, household, or family use.
4. Acceptance & Formation
This Agreement forms when Subscriber completes affirmative clickthrough assent before payment processing. Subscriber must check all required acceptance boxes before any payment is submitted to Stripe. The required acknowledgments are: (a) general agreement to this User Agreement; (b) specific acknowledgment of mandatory arbitration and class action waiver; and (c) specific acknowledgment of the Cancellation and Subscription Termination Policy, including non-refundability and automatic renewal.
5. Subscription & Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable once charged, except where required by law. Access continues only while the subscription remains active. Subscriber may cancel future renewal at any time through the member account portal or via the Stripe customer billing portal.
6. Mandatory Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement, the platform, or its outputs shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Subscriber waives the right to participate in class, collective, or representative actions.
7. Output Limitations
All outputs carry the active authority packet ID and tool version stamp. Outputs are documentation frameworks and do not constitute compliance determinations, entry authorizations, permits, sealed engineering documents, legal opinions, training certifications, or competent-person determinations. Each output includes a limitations block that travels with the document.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association.
9A. Cancellation & Subscription Termination Policy
Subscriber may cancel future renewal at any time through the member account portal. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not entitle Subscriber to a refund of any previously charged subscription fee, except where required by law. Access continues through the end of the current paid period unless this Agreement is terminated for cause. The full Cancellation and Subscription Termination Policy is also available as a standalone page.
10. Acceptance Record
The platform maintains an acceptance record for each Subscriber, including subscriber email, acceptance timestamp, agreement version stamp, IP address (where available), acceptance method, and the value of each required checkbox.
